✅ Products Used in Combination with Fenice Section Lacquer

▶ Base Coat

A product that is applied once before using Section Lacquer to create a smooth surface feel, reduce roughness, and provide sufficient build, allowing for faster working speed.

▶ UW 13/8 (Gloss)

Functions as a clear finishing coat while also serving as a primer that promotes the adhesion of Section Lacquer.

• A product that functions as a transparent gloss coating when used as a topcoat to create a glossy effect on surfaces finished in matte.
• Enables a high-gloss finish with excellent durability and a high level of gloss without the need for a buffing process, allowing for a convenient and efficient finishing application.
• With enhanced adhesion and penetration properties, UW 13/8 can also be used as an adhesion promoter.
• Using UW 13/8 before applying Section Lacquer improves the adhesion of the Section Lacquer.
• It is particularly effective on highly absorbent or relatively taut leathers, further enhancing its performance.

🛠 Directions 

▶ When using section lacquer only

1. Apply the product and allow it to dry. Section Lacquer can be applied either by hand or by machine.

2. If necessary, gently rub the surface with a soft leather pad to create a glossy finish.

3. To evenly seal the leather edges, apply Section Lacquer once more to the softened surface.

4. Repeat the above steps if necessary.

5. Drying with heat can shorten the drying time and improve water resistance.

6. If the product needs to be removed during application, it can be easily wiped off before drying as it is water-based.

▶ When Using a Base Coat

1. Apply the base coat and allow it to dry.

2. Before the second application, lightly sand with very fine sandpaper to improve surface absorption.

3. Select the desired color of section lacquer, apply evenly, and allow it to dry.

4. If necessary, repeat the application using the same selected section lacquer and allow it to dry.

5. It is recommended to test adhesion and overall performance 24–48 hours after application.

▶ When using Section Lacquer together with UW 13/8 (Gloss)

1. Apply UW 13/8 to the surface to improve adhesion and allow it to dry.

2. Once the applied UW product has dried, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper.

3.Select the required color from the Section Lacquer range and apply one coat.
After drying, lightly sand again.

4. Apply the UW product once more and allow it to dry; if necessary, apply the Section Lacquer one additional time.

5. If a fixing/sealing step is required, finish with UW 13/8, taking the desired gloss level into consideration.

⚠ Precautions

1. For gloss products (1116, 6369, fluorescent colors), the material tends to harden more quickly due to its characteristics, so it is recommended to use the product as soon as possible after purchase.

2. Mix thoroughly before use (do not use metal mixing balls).

3. The product is highly sensitive to air exposure, so be sure to seal the container tightly after use.

4. If the product is not used for an extended period, its components may deteriorate.
